Lauloi, loitsi!
In a unique program curated by soprano Iida Antola and pianist Pauliina Tukiainen, the audience will hear Lied music inspired by folk traditions and reflecting the culture and identity of different nations. Each composer’s national characteristics are present in the works, yet the music also expresses the deepest emotions of the individual as well as shared, universal human experiences.
The concert program includes works by composers such as Sibelius, Nystroem, Rangström, Tuomela, Ravel, and Messiaen.
The concert will be held in the idyllic Koskenhovi Manor, which is accessible to the public exclusively during our event. Intermission refreshments will be provided by Myrskylyhty ry. Proceeds from the café will be donated in support of Ukrainians. The café will open well before the concert begins. Parking guidance will be available at the venue.
Please note that there are steps at the manor’s entrance; our staff will assist if needed. Personal assistants are admitted free of charge with the ticket type “Pyörätuoli + avustaja” (Wheelchair + Assistant). It is possible to drop off a guest by car at the entrance, but we kindly ask that the vehicle be moved to the parking area immediately afterward.
