This concert presents music in which choices, conscience, and quiet reflection walk hand in hand.
Dutch bass-baritone Henk Neven is a versatile recital and opera singer who has appeared in prestigious opera houses and concert halls around the world. His artistic achievements have been recognized with numerous awards. In addition to his successful performing career, Neven is an active teacher and serves in artistic leadership roles.
Anne Le Bozec, Professor of Vocal Accompaniment at the Paris Conservatoire, has quickly established herself as one of the leading pianists and collaborative artists of her generation. She has performed in recitals and chamber music concerts with distinguished musicians throughout Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Anne Le Bozec teaches at international masterclasses and also serves as the artistic director of a chamber music festival.
Pianist Pauliina Tukiainen is an internationally sought-after performer and teacher of vocal chamber music (Lieder). She has given concerts across Europe, Africa, India, and Vietnam, and has appeared at numerous international festivals. Tukiainen has taught Lied interpretation and given masterclasses at a wide range of institutions. Since 2017, she has served as Professor of Lied at Mozarteum University Salzburg.
The concert will take place in the historic Frugård Manor, built in the 18th century and located in Joroinen. Refreshments during the intermission will be provided by Myrskylyhty ry. Proceeds from the café service will be donated to support Ukrainians. The café will open well before the concert begins.
Doors open at 4:00 PM. Parking attendants will be available to guide visitors upon arrival. Please note that there are stairs before the entrance to the venue. Assistance will be provided if needed.
